Maine State Police are now identifying two people found dead at a home in West Bath earlier this week.

They say Sagadahoc County deputies initially found the bodies of two people Monday while conducting a welfare check at a residence on State Road in West Bath.

The Maine State Police Major Crimes Unit was then brought in to investigate.

Those bodies are now identified as 77-year-old Carolyn Harris and 75-year-old Kevin Harris, both of West Bath.

The two bodies were taken to the Office of Chief Medical Examiner in Augusta for autopsies.

The investigation remains ongoing.   State Police say there is no danger to the public
