At least two people suffered non-life threatening injuries when a bridge that’s under construction in Old Town collapsed Thursday afternoon.

Old Town Police said a section of the Llewellyn Estes Bridge that carries Stillwater Avenue over the Stillwater River had collapsed while concrete was being poured.

The bridge is undergoing a replacement project.

WVII-TV reported that all of the workers had been accounted for.

Police said the area from Stillwater Avenue to Bennoch Road was closed Thursday afternoon.

Orono officials warned drivers of possible delays if they’re rerouting through Route 2 in Orono.
