A New York man was arrested for drug trafficking after a search of an Airbnb in Portland turned up more than a pound of cocaine.

Maine drug agents say 51-year-old Raymond Teran of the Bronx was arrested on Friday after an investigation led agents to the Airbnb on Emery Street.

Agents searched the property and found 1.1 pounds of cocaine, 13 grams of crack and more than $38,000 in suspected drug proceeds.

The estimated street value of the drugs is $22,000.

Teran was charged with two counts of aggravated drug trafficking, illegal importation of drugs and falsifying physical evidence.

Teran is being held at Cumberland County Jail and was expected to make his initial court appearance on Monday.
