Monday through Friday, 5am – 10am

Hello! I’m Brian and I was born in Lewiston and moved to Portland in 2005. I live in the West End and juggle a couple jobs to keep myself out of trouble. Truth be told, hosting the morning show here at Rewind 100.9 is BY FAR my favorite. While the 345am alarm has taken a while to get used to, if I am going to be up at that hour, the only place I want to be is on the air.

So how did I get on the Rewind AM Kickstart? Let’s go way back where it all started. In January 2000, I landed an overnight show on one of Rewind’s sister stations and began my radio career around 5 hours a week. I dipped my hands into the other stations in the building, including Rewind 100.9, and absorbed as much as I could about radio broadcasting. Throughout the last 20 years, I would be the fill in guy the bosses would go to when others were on vacation and that gave me the chance to learn so much more about radio. Then in the fall of 2020, our Marketing Manager approached me about the Rewind morning show and it took all of 3 seconds for me to say “yes”. “Yes” to a 345am alarm which was much, much earlier than I was used to. However, there is nothing I would rather do first thing in the morning than to play Portland’s Greatest Hits for you on Rewind 100.9!
