LOCAL RULES:

Coast 93.1, 101.9 POR, and Rewind 100.9’s “Pro Football Challenge” contest is an online contest that will occur from September 7^th, 2021 until the completion of the NFL season on Sunday, January 9th 2022 in which a different entrant will win a $50 Pat’s Pizza gift card each week of the 17 weeks of the NFL season. The weekly qualifying prize has a retail value of $50. For details on Aptivada’s national grand prize for the Pro Football Challenge contest, please see their official rules.

How to Enter:

Patrons may enter the contest online at coast931.com, 1019por.com, or rewind1009.com, by completely filling out the entry form on the contest page to create a contest user profile. Then, fill in the weekly entry form by selecting the outcome of each NFL game. All games will use a rolling lock system which will allow players to make picks up to approximately 15 minutes prior to the official kick-off time of each game.  Any selections submitted after the deadlines are considered invalid, and no points will be awarded. All times displayed on the schedule are Eastern. You may change your pick for any game up until the time that game is locked. Entries must be completed on time. Once a game is locked, you may not change your pick for it. If you did not make a pick for a particular game, it is counted as a loss. If you submit a partial entry and either forget or are unable to complete it, the games you did not pick will count as losses.

After each week, the local entrant who made the most correct match up picks will win a $50 Pat’s Pizza Gift Card. In the event of a tie, there will be a random drawing for the weekly prize.

 

No Purchase necessary. One entry per person. Submitting more than one entry per person will invalidate all entries by that contestant. Any entry submitted on behalf of another individual or using another person’s email address or name will be disqualified and ineligible to claim any prize. Any attempt by any participant to obtain more than the stated number of entries allowed by using same, multiple/different email addresses, identities, or any other methods void that participant’s entries and that participant may be disqualified. in the event of a dispute as to any on-line registration, the authorized account holder of the e-mail address sued to register will be deemed to be the registrant and he/she must be eligible according to these official rules. No mechanically reproduced or automated entries permitted. Use of any automated system to participate is prohibited and will result in disqualification and all such entries will be deemed void.

This contest is open to all eligible Iowa residents 21 or older who have not won anything on Coast 93.1, 101.9 POR, and Rewind 100.9 in the last 14 days or any prize valued at $600 or more in the past 6 months. Employees of Coast 93.1, 101.9 POR, and Rewind 100.9, Portland Radio Group, Saga Communications of New England, LLC., and its ultimate parent company, Saga Communications, Inc., their advertising agencies, affiliates, contest sponsors, employees and immediate families of each, and employees of all media of mass communication within a one-hundred-mile radius of the Coast 93.1, 101.9 POR, and Rewind 100.9’s main studios are not eligible to win any contest. Immediate family includes the spouse, great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren, and great- grandchildren of the employee and his/her spouse. This also includes individuals for whom the employee is current legal guardian. Coast 93.1, 101.9 POR, and Rewind 100.9 have the final say as to who is the winner of the contest. NO Purchase necessary. Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged, substituted or redeemed for cash. Winners must present valid state ID and w9 to collect the prize. Winners are responsible for all taxes and fees associated with the prizes. Prizes can be picked up at the Coast 93.1, 101.9 POR, and Rewind 100.9 studios located at 420 Western Avenue, South Portland, between 9am and 5pm, Monday through Friday.

Coast 93.1, 101.9 POR, and Rewind 100.9 will have no further responsibility in connection with the prize if any tickets, certificates, or other prizes cannot be redeemed or awarded due to event cancellations or ANY circumstances outside Coast 93.1, 101.9 POR, and Rewind 100.9’s control. No substitute prizes shall be awarded except at the discretion of Coast 93.1, 101.9 POR, and Rewind 100.9. In the event the 2020 NFL Season is cancelled prior to its completion, the national $50,000 grand prize, the local $500 Gift Certificate, and any weekly prizes for contest weeks that have not yet run will be null and void. These are the rules governing all contests aired on Coast 93.1, 101.9 POR, and Rewind 100.9 and on the coast931.com, 1019por.com, and rewindd1009.com website, unless otherwise specified. In the following rules, “Coast 93.1, 101.9 POR, and Rewind 100.9’” means Saga Communications of Iowa, LLC, dba Des Moines Radio Group and its parent corporation, Saga Communications, Inc., which owns Coast 93.1, 101.9 POR, and Rewind 100.9:

• No purchase is necessary to enter any Coast 93.1, 101.9 POR, and Rewind 100.9
• To be eligible to win any prize on Coast 93.1, 101.9 POR, and Rewind 100.9 you must not have won anything on Coast 93.1, 101.9 POR, and Rewind 100.9 in the past 14 days or any prize valued at $600 or more in the past 6 months. Only one winner per household is permitted within 14 days after a household has a winner. Any prize awarded to an ineligible listener will be deemed null and void, and an alternate eligible winner may be named.
• Anytime you call the Coast 93.1, 101.9 POR, and Rewind 100.9 studios you assume that your call will be broadcast or recorded and you grant us permission to broadcast the call or record it for later broadcast.
• As a winner of a Coast 93.1, 101.9 POR, and Rewind 100.9 contest your voice, name and/or picture may be used for promotional, broadcast, or internet purposes without any compensation to you.
• Prizes awarded are not redeemable for cash. No prize is transferable. No substitution for a prize will be made at the request of winner. Coast 93.1, 101.9 POR, and Rewind 100.9 reserves the right to substitute a prize of similar value.
• All winners of all contests are responsible for all taxes on prize awarded. All winners of a prize valued at $600 or more will be required to complete the appropriate tax forms at the Coast 93.1, 101.9 POR, and Rewind 100.9 studios prior to claiming prize. All winners will be sent a 1099 MISC federal tax form if in one calendar year the prize value of all prizes won exceeds $600.
• In the event the winner is subject to or the subject of any order or legal process issued by any governmental agency having jurisdiction over the affairs of the winner (i.e. garnishment, child support order, judgment, lien, and the like), Coast 93.1, 101.9 POR, and Rewind 100.9 delivery of the prize to the official representative of the governmental entity claiming a right to the prize shall be thus deemed as (Coast 93.1, 101.9 POR, and Rewind 100.9) awarding the prize to the winner. Coast 93.1, 101.9 POR, and Rewind 100.9 shall be entitled to rely in good faith, upon any documents presented by the representative seeking to collect the prize in lieu of the winner. Coast 93.1, 101.9 POR, and Rewind 100.9 shall not be liable for any claim by any winner for damages incidental thereto.
• All Coast 93.1, 101.9 POR, and Rewind 100.9 contests are open to all eligible residents 18 or over (unless otherwise specified) living within 75 miles of station transmitter(s). Contestants must possess a valid form of identification bearing the picture of the contestant acceptable to Coast 93.1, 101.9 POR, and Rewind 100.9 that will be presented to Coast 93.1, 101.9 POR, and Rewind 100.9 and accepted before the prize is awarded. • Winners will be expected to claim prize at the Coast 93.1, 101.9 POR, and Rewind 100.9studios, [station-address], between 9:00am – 5:00pm, Monday through Friday (excluding holidays) within 30 days of being notified that they are winners, unless there is an expiration date on prize, which will be specifically stated.
• All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. Contest is void where prohibited.
• Coast 93.1, 101.9 POR, and Rewind 100.9 reserves the right to disqualify any entrant if any contest rules are violated in any way.
• Coast 93.1, 101.9 POR, and Rewind 100.9 assumes no liability for situations, repairs, or incidents arising from any aspect of any prize awarded in any contest. Coast 93.1, 101.9 POR, and Rewind 100.9, its advertising agencies, affiliates, contest sponsors, employees, and immediate families of each are absolved and shall be held harmless from any action or liability arising from any contest or prize awarded in any contest.
• As a licensee of the FCC and a trustee of the public airwaves, Coast 93.1, 101.9 POR, and Rewind 100.9 reserves the right to interrupt and/or discontinue any contest or promotion (and not award the offered prize) at the discretion of Coast 93.1, 101.9 POR, and Rewind 100.9management if world events, the national mood, or public safety so warrant.
• Coast 93.1, 101.9 POR, and Rewind 100.9 reserves the right to amend the rules to any contest at any time. COAST 93.1, 101.9 POR, AND REWIND 100.9 ‘sdecision is always final.
• For any contest requiring phone entry you must use only the following number unless otherwise specified: COAST 93.1, 101.9 POR, AND REWIND 100.9 . For texting it is 77000. The person operating the telephone at COAST 93.1, 101.9 POR, AND REWIND 100.9  has the final decision as to who is the winning caller.
• COAST 93.1, 101.9 POR, AND REWIND 100.9  shall have no responsibility for contestant’s inability or failure to participate, failure to win or claim any prize based on malfunction or difficulties with telephone, cell phone, texting, email, or internet access, or any other circumstances in any contest beyond COAST 93.1, 101.9 POR, AND REWIND 100.9 ‘
• For any contest involving on-line voting: If an entrant receives irregular votes, including but not limited to, votes generated by a robotic, programmed, script, macro, or other automated means, COAST 93.1, 101.9 POR, AND REWIND 100.9  reserves the right to disqualify the entrant in its sole discretion and/or use another means to determine the winner(s), ex. – random selection or appointing a panel of judges.
• COAST 93.1, 101.9 POR, AND REWIND 100.9  is not responsible for Internet crashes or slowdowns caused by network congestion, viruses, sabotage, satellite failures, phone line failures, electrical outages, natural disasters or act of man or God, lost, late, misdirected, postage-due, unintelligible, returned, undelivered entries or email, or lost, interrupted or unavailable satellite, network, server, Internet Service Provider (ISP), website, or other connections availability, accessibility or traffic congestion, miscommunications, failed computer, network, telephone, satellite or cable hardware or software or lines, or technical failure, or jumbled, scrambled, delayed or misdirected transmissions, computer hardware or software malfunctions, failures or difficulties, or other errors of any kind whether human, mechanical, electronic, or network. Persons who tamper with or abuse any aspect of this contest or website, or act in violation of the official service, as solely determined by the station, will be disqualified. Neither sponsor nor promotion parties are responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information whether caused by website users, tampering, hacking, or by any of the programming or equipment associated with or used in this contest, and assumes no responsibility for any errors, omissions, deletion, interruption or delay in operation or transmission or communication line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized website access. COAST 93.1, 101.9 POR, AND REWIND 100.9  is not responsible for injury or damage to participant’s or any other person’s computer or property related to or resulting from participating in this contest. Should any portion of contest be, in COAST 93.1, 101.9 POR, AND REWIND 100.9 ‘ sole opinion, compromised by virus, worms, bugs, unauthorized human intervention or other causes which, in the sole opinion of the station, corrupt or impair administration, security, fairness or proper play of this contest, or contest plays, COAST 93.1, 101.9 POR, AND REWIND 100.9  reserves the right at its sole discretion to suspend, modify or terminate the contest.
• Coast 93.1, 101.9 POR, and Rewind 100.9 have not made nor are in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation, or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to any prize, including but not limited to its quality, mechanical condition or fitness for a particular purpose. Any and all warranties and/or guarantees on prize (if any) are provided only by the manufacturer, and winners agree to look solely to such manufacturers for any such warranty and/or guarantee.
• The following are specifically related to E-contests and E-Mail Club promotions on com, 1019por.com, or rewind1009.com:
• All appropriate information in required fields must be entered correctly and completely or you will be disqualified.
• To win a prize you must reside within the listening area of COAST 93.1, 101.9 POR, AND REWIND 100.9  as defined at the exclusive discretion of COAST 93.1, 101.9 POR, AND REWIND 100.9
• Any problems with the internet or email are not COAST 93.1, 101.9 POR, AND REWIND 100.9 ‘s
• Contestants who register to participate on our website may be required to produce a printed copy of proof of registration before being allowed to participate in the contest.
• Due to the nature of our programs that are heard on-line over the internet, contests may not be heard at all on COAST 93.1, 101.9 POR, AND REWIND 100.9 . Contests heard on the radio station’s internet audio stream may be slightly delayed from the time the contests are heard on the broadcast station, and will be running behind the broadcast signal. Thus, all contests heard on the internet are delayed. This delay can last for as much as 30 seconds or more. This means that when COAST 93.1, 101.9 POR, AND REWIND 100.9  contests are played that require a specific caller to telephone the radio station (such as “Caller number 9 when you hear the sound effect”), listeners to the on-line audio stream may be at a disadvantage in participating over those listeners who hear the contests on-air.

APTIVADA NATIONAL RULES

Local Contest & Prizes

The local portion of the contest is being conducted concurrently and simultaneously with radio stations in the Portland, ME area affiliated with the PORTLAND RADIO GROUP (Coast 93.1, WPOR, and WYNZ 100.9) and listeners of said stations will then be competing to win the same prize.  Locally, the contest is being sponsored by Bill Dodge GMC (Local Sponsor).

Rules to Win Local Prizes: To participate in The Bill Dodge Football Fantasy 2021 contest to win local prizes, contestants must register at the link found at www.Coast931.com; www.wpor.com; www.rewind1009.com, www.facebook.com/coast931, www.facebook.com/wpor1019, www.facebook.com/Rewind1009, or www.facebook.com/BillDodgeGMCBuick/ and make picks in a manner consistent with the national contest. To qualify for local prizes, contestants must fulfill all the following criteria: (1) Have made a complete set of picks during at least one week of the contest period. (2) Be at least 18 years old. (3) Have a valid driver’s license issued by the State of Maine. Employees of Local Sponsor or Station, and their ultimate parent companies including Saga Communications, Inc., their advertising agencies, affiliates, contest sponsors, employees and immediate families of each, and employees of all media of mass communication within a one-hundred-mile radius of 420 Western Avenue, South Portland, Maine are not eligible to win any contest.  Immediate family includes the spouse, great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of the employee and his/her spouse. LOCAL WEEKLY PRIZES

Weekly Prize: During each week of the contest, one local contestant who accumulates the greatest number of points from their previous week’s picks in the national contest will be awarded a local prize as designated by the local sponsor and station. In case of a tie, the ultimate winner will be selected at random from among all tied contestants. The value of prize may vary from week to week during the contest. The value of the prize will be posted on the official contest site. Approximate retail value of all prizes will be determined using the list price on the provider’s website.

Weekly prize winner will be determined on or about Tuesday at 9:00am during each week of the contest based on the points accumulated during the previous week of picks. There will only be one weekly winner from among all local entries. Winner will be contacted via the email address used when entering the contest. To claim prize, winner must present themselves in-person along with a valid Maine driver’s license within 30 days of prize notification during posted business hours at the station offices locate at 420 Western Avenue in South Portland Maine.  Unclaimed prizes will be forfeited.  Additional contestants will not be selected to receive forfeited prizes. There is no limit to the number of weekly local prizes that can be won during the contest.  Winning a weekly local prize does not preclude a contestant from winning other national prizes and local prizes.

Bill Dodge GMC Football Fantasy Guaranteed Prize

At the conclusion of the contest (the end of the NFL Regular Season), five local contestants will be chosen for a chance to win additional prizes. The additional prizes will be either; (a) two tickets to the first regular season home game of the 2022 professional football season at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Massachusetts OR (b) a car as further described below.  All prizes are non-transferable and cannot be substituted for cash or equivalents.

Five local qualifiers will be selected from all local contestants who participated during the contest period and will be entered into the contest for the prizes above. The five local qualifiers will be selected as follows:

• Qualifier numbers one and two will be selected at random from among all registered contestants who made picks during at least one week of the contest period.
• Qualifier number three will be the local contestant who accumulates the greatest number of total contest points in the same manner prescribed by the national contest rules. In the event of a tie, the ultimate qualifier will be selected at random from among the tied participants.
• Qualifier number four will be the local contestant who accumulates the second-greatest number of total contest points in the same manner prescribed by the national contest rules. In the event of a tie, the ultimate qualifier will be selected at random from among the tied participants.
• Qualifier number five will be the local contestant who accumulates the third-greatest number of total contest points in the same manner prescribed by the national contest rules. In the event of a tie, the ultimate qualifier will be selected at random from among the tied participants.

No contestant can qualify more than once. Once a contestant qualifies, his or her name will be withdrawn from consideration in all other qualification categories.

All 4 qualifiers will be notified on or about February 15, 2022 using the email address provided at time of contest registration. To be considered for the prizes, qualifiers must present themselves in-person along with their valid Maine driver’s license by February 28, 2022 during posted business hours at the station offices located at 420 Western Avenue in South Portland Maine. Qualifiers who do not present themselves by the designated date and time or who do not meet the stated criteria for winning a local prize will be disqualified from the contest. Additional qualifiers will not be chosen to replace disqualified contestants.

On or about February 28, 2022 the prize (a) above, the football tickets, will be awarded to one of the four qualifiers. The winner of the football tickets will be determined by taking the absolute difference from the last 7 digits of the value of their Maine Driver’s license number and a randomly generated 7 digit number provided to Portland Radio Group by Million Dollar Media. The qualifier who has the smallest absolute difference numerical value number will win the football tickets. In the event of a tie, the ultimate winner will be selected randomly from among all tied contestants.

Bill Dodge GMC Football Local Grand Prize

The random seven-digit number ranging from 0000000-9999999, inclusive, which has been generated by Million Dollar Media, will also be used to determine if there is a winner of the Bill Dodge GMC Football Local Grand Prize.

To determine if there is a winner, the last seven-digits of each qualifier’s valid Maine driver’s license number will be compared to the pre-determined seven-digit number from Million Dollar Media. In order to win, the final seven-digits of an eligible qualifier’s valid Maine driver’s license must match in exact order the pre-determined number. If that occurs, that qualifier will win the Local Grand prize: a 2022 GMC Sierra Pickup Truck OR GMC SUV; either prize has an approximate MSRP of $45,000. In the event of a winner, the choice of vehicle will be determined by Bill Dodge GMC based on availability at the time of winning.

The first contestant whose number exactly matches the pre-determined number will be awarded the Local Grand prize. Only one contestant can win the Local Grand prize. If an exact match is found, the Local Grand prize contest is declared over and no other remaining contestant’s driver’s license numbers will be considered. No Local Grand prize will be awarded in the event that no match is found. Winner must accept delivery of vehicle from the local sponsor designated dealer, or as otherwise specified by local sponsor. Local sponsor will solely designate and specify available vehicles including make, model, color and options for Local Grand Prize winner’s prize award. The local Grand Prize winner may not substitute, exchange, or apply the vehicle’s value towards a higher cost or alternate vehicle. Designated vehicle must be the sponsor designated vehicle that is currently in designated dealer’s stock of inventory. Local sponsor reserves the right to award an alternate year model (i.e. 2021), if the 2022 model is not available at the time of prize award. Winner must accept delivery of prize by the last business day of December 2022 or forfeit the prize.

If the designated prize vehicle MSRP is under $45,000, the winner will not be awarded the difference between the vehicle’s actual MSRP and $45,000. The local Grand Prize winner is responsible for paying any and all sales tax on prize award at time of delivery. All other costs and expenses related to prize acceptance and use not specified herein as being provided are the sole responsibility of Grand Prize winner, including but not limited to tax, title, insurance, license and registration fees. All income, federal, state and local taxes are Grand Prize winner’s sole responsibility. The Grand prize is non-transferable and no cash redemption or prize substitution allowed, except at station’s sole discretion or as provided herein. Station reserves the right to substitute a prize of comparable or greater value, at its sole discretion.

Guaranteed Prize and Grand Prize winners will be contacted on or about February 28, 2022 using the email address provided upon registration. Prize winners must present themselves in person by March 31, 2022 during regular business hours at station offices located at 420 Western Avenue, South Portland, Maine to claim their prizes.

Failure to collect or properly claim any prize in accordance with these rules will result in forfeiture of the prize. If forfeited for any reason, contestant will not receive any other prize substitution or compensation. If there is no local Grand Prize awarded in the contest per these contest rules, the local Grand Prize will not be awarded.

Additional Rules & Restrictions: By participating in this contest, entrants agree to abide by and be bound by the Official Rules and the decisions of the station and local sponsor, which shall be final in all matters relating to this contest. In the event an entrant wins a prize, and is later found to be in violation of these rules he/she will be required to forfeit the prize or to reimburse Sponsor for the stated value of the prize if such violation is discovered after winner has used the prize. Participation in contest constitutes permission for the Sponsor and its agencies to use winners’ names and/or likenesses for purposes of advertising and trade in any media worldwide without limitation or further compensation unless prohibited by law. False, fraudulent or deceptive entries or acts shall render entrants ineligible for any prize.

Sponsor and station are not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing or advertising of the offer, administration or execution of the contest or in the announcement of the prizes/prize winners. By accepting prizes, winners agree to hold sponsor, and released parties (collectively “Releasees”), from any claims, losses, actions, or damages of any kind, whether actual, incidental or consequential, for injury (including but not limited to death), damages, losses or expenses arising out of or relating to entrant’s participation in this contest, or the acceptance, possession or use/misuse of any prize, or participation in prize-related activities (including but not limited to travel related thereto), and to assume all liability in connection therewith.

Releasees shall not be liable to any winner, entrant or any other person for failure to supply the prize or any part thereof by reason of any acts of God, any actions, regulations, orders, or requests by any governmental entity, equipment failure, terrorist acts, war, fire, unusually severe weather, embargo, labor dispute or strike, labor or material shortage, transportation interruption of any kind, or any other cause beyond Releasees’ sole control. No more than the advertised maximum number of prizes will be awarded for any reason.

The national portion of the contest is being run concurrently and simultaneously with radio stations in North America and listeners of Portland Radio Group will be competing against listeners of participating North American stations for the same national prizes.

Portland Radio Group’s sole responsibility will be to award the local prize(s). Portland Radio group shall have no further responsibility in connection with the local prize(s) if the local prize winner, for any reason cannot or decides not to use any of the local prizes.

IN CASE OF DISPUTES: By participating, each entrant agrees that (1) any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or in connection with this Promotion, or any prizes awarded, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and any judicial proceeding shall take place in a federal or state court within the State of Utah; (2) any and all claims, judgments, and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this Promotion, but in no event attorneys’ fees; and (3) under no circumstances will entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim, punitive, incidental, and consequential damages, and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of entrant and Sponsor in connection with this Promotion, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Utah, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions (whether of the State of Utah or any other jurisdiction), that would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of Utah.

Odds: The odds of being selected as an official qualifier are dependent upon the number of entries received. The odds of a qualifier winning the local guaranteed prize is 1:4. The odds a grand prize qualifier winning the local grand prize once selected as the official finalist are 1:100,000.

LONG FORM RULES, COAST 93.1, WPOR 101.9, WYNZ 100.9

These are the rules governing all contests aired on Coast 93.1, WPOR and WYNZ 100.9 radio and on the coast931.com website, unless otherwise specified. In the following rules, “Coast 93.1, WPOR and WYNZ 100.9” means Saga Communications of New England, LLC, dba Portland Radio Group and its parent corporation, Saga Communications, Inc., which owns Coast 93.1, WPOR and WYNZ 100.9 radio:

93. No purchase is necessary to enter any Coast 93.1, WPOR and WYNZ 100.9 contest.
94. To be eligible to win any prize on Coast 93.1, WPOR and WYNZ 100.9 you must not have won anything on Coast 93.1, WPOR and WYNZ 100.9 in the past 30 days or any prize valued at $600 or more in the past 6 months. Only one winner per household is permitted within 30 days after a household has a winner. Any prize awarded to an ineligible listener will be deemed null and void, and an alternate eligible winner may be named.
95. Anytime you call the Coast 93.1, WPOR and WYNZ 100.9 studios you assume that your call will be broadcast or recorded and you grant us permission to broadcast the call or record it for later broadcast.
96. As a winner of a Coast 93.1, WPOR and WYNZ 100.9 contest your voice, name and/or picture may be used for promotional, broadcast, or internet purposes without any compensation to you.
97. Prizes awarded are not redeemable for cash. No prize is transferable. No substitution for a prize will be made at the request of winner. Coast 93.1, WPOR and WYNZ 100.9 reserves the right to substitute a prize of similar value.
98. All winners of all contests are responsible for all taxes on prize awarded. All winners of a prize valued at $600 or more will be required to complete the appropriate tax forms at the Coast 93.1, WPOR and WYNZ 100.9 studios prior to claiming prize. All winners will be sent a 1099 MISC federal tax form if in one calendar year the prize value of all prizes won exceeds $600.
99. In the event the winner is subject to or the subject of any order or legal process issued by any governmental agency having jurisdiction over the affairs of the winner (i.e. garnishment, child support order, judgment, lien, and the like), Coast 93.1, WPOR and WYNZ 100.9’s delivery of the prize to the official representative of the governmental entity claiming a right to the prize shall be thus deemed as (Coast 93.1, WPOR and WYNZ 100.9) awarding the prize to the winner. Coast 93.1, WPOR and WYNZ 100.9 shall be entitled to rely in good faith, upon any documents presented by the representative seeking to collect the prize in lieu of the winner. Coast 93.1, WPOR and WYNZ 100.9 shall not be liable for any claim by any winner for damages incidental thereto.
100. All Coast 93.1, WPOR and WYNZ 100.9 contests are open to all eligible residents 18 or over (unless otherwise specified) living within 75 miles of station transmitter(s). Contestants must possess a valid form of identification bearing the picture of the contestant acceptable to Coast 93.1, WPOR and WYNZ 100.9 that will be presented to Coast 93.1, WPOR and WYNZ 100.9 and accepted before the prize is awarded. Employees of Coast 93.1, WPOR and WYNZ 100.9, it’s advertising agencies, affiliates, contest sponsors, employees and immediate families of each, and employees of all media of mass communication within a one hundred mile radius of the Coast 93.1, WPOR and WYNZ 100.9 main studio are not eligible to win any contest. Immediate family includes the spouse, great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of the employee and his/her spouse. This also includes individuals for whom the employee is current legal guardian.
101. Winners will be expected to claim prize at the Coast 93.1, WPOR and WYNZ 100.9 studios, [station-address], between 9:00am – 5:00pm, Monday through Friday (excluding holidays) within 30 days of being notified that they are winners, unless there is an expiration date on prize, which will be specifically stated.
102. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. Contest is void where prohibited.
103. Coast 93.1, WPOR and WYNZ 100.9 reserves the right to disqualify any entrant if any contest rules are violated in any way.
104. Coast 93.1, WPOR and WYNZ 100.9 assumes no liability for situations, repairs, or incidents arising from any aspect of any prize awarded in any contest. Coast 93.1, WPOR and WYNZ 100.9, its advertising agencies, affiliates, contest sponsors, employees, and immediate families of each are absolved and shall be held harmless from any action or liability arising from any contest or prize awarded in any contest.
105. As a licensee of the FCC and a trustee of the public airwaves, Coast 93.1, WPOR and WYNZ 100.9 reserves the right to interrupt and/or discontinue any contest or promotion (and not award the offered prize) at the discretion of Coast 93.1, WPOR and WYNZ 100.9 management if world events, the national mood, or public safety so warrant.
106. Coast 93.1 reserves the right to amend the rules to any contest at any time. Coast 93.1, WPOR and WYNZ 100.9’s decision is always final.
107. For any contest requiring phone entry you must use only the following number unless otherwise specified: 207-792-6278 (Coast 93.1), 207-792-9767 (WPOR) and 207-879-1009 (WYNZ 100.9). For texting it is 77000. The person operating the telephone at Coast 93.1, WPOR and WYNZ 100.9 has the final decision as to who is the winning caller.
108. Coast 93.1, WPOR and WYNZ 100.9 shall have no responsibility for contestant’s inability or failure to participate, failure to win or claim any prize based on malfunction or difficulties with telephone, cell phone, texting, email, or internet access, or any other circumstances in any contest beyond Coast 93.1’s control.
109. For any contest involving on-line voting: If an entrant receives irregular votes, including but not limited to, votes generated by a robotic, programmed, script, macro, or other automated means, Coast 93.1, WPOR and WYNZ 100.9 reserves the right to disqualify the entrant in its sole discretion and/or use another means to determine the winner(s), ex. – random selection or appointing a panel of judges.
110. Coast 93.1, WPOR and WYNZ 100.9 is not responsible for Internet crashes or slowdowns caused by network congestion, viruses, sabotage, satellite failures, phone line failures, electrical outages, natural disasters or act of man or God, lost, late, misdirected, postage-due, unintelligible, returned, undelivered entries or email, or lost, interrupted or unavailable satellite, network, server, Internet Service Provider (ISP), website, or other connections availability, accessibility or traffic congestion, miscommunications, failed computer, network, telephone, satellite or cable hardware or software or lines, or technical failure, or jumbled, scrambled, delayed or misdirected transmissions, computer hardware or software malfunctions, failures or difficulties, or other errors of any kind whether human, mechanical, electronic, or network. Persons who tamper with or abuse any aspect of this contest or website, or act in violation of the official service, as solely determined by the station, will be disqualified. Neither sponsor nor promotion parties are responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information whether caused by website users, tampering, hacking, or by any of the programming or equipment associated with or used in this contest, and assumes no responsibility for any errors, omissions, deletion, interruption or delay in operation or transmission or communication line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized website access. Coast 93.1, WPOR and WYNZ 100.9 is not responsible for injury or damage to participant’s or any other person’s computer or property related to or resulting from participating in this contest. Should any portion of contest be, in Coast 93.1, WPOR and WYNZ 100.9’s sole opinion, compromised by virus, worms, bugs, unauthorized human intervention or other causes which, in the sole opinion of the station, corrupt or impair administration, security, fairness or proper play of this contest, or contest plays, Coast 93.1, WPOR and WYNZ 100.9 reserves the right at its sole discretion to suspend, modify or terminate the contest.
111. Coast 93.1, WPOR and WYNZ 100.9 has not made nor is in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation, or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to any prize, including but not limited to its quality, mechanical condition or fitness for a particular purpose. Any and all warranties and/or guarantees on prize (if any) are provided only by the manufacturer, and winners agree to look solely to such manufacturers for any such warranty and/or guarantee.
112. The following are specifically related to E-contests and E-Mail Club promotions on coast931.com, 1019por.com, and rewind1009.com:
113. All appropriate information in required fields must be entered correctly and completely or you will be disqualified.
114. To win a prize you must reside within the listening area of Coast 93.1, WPOR and WYNZ 100.9 as defined at the exclusive discretion of Coast 93.1, WPOR and WYNZ 100.9

• Any problems with the internet or email are not Coast 93.1, WPOR and WYNZ 100.9’s responsibility.

1. Contestants who register to participate on our website may be required to produce a printed copy of proof of registration before being allowed to participate in the contest.
2. Due to the nature of our programs that are heard on-line over the internet, contests may not be heard at all on Coast 93.1, WPOR and WYNZ 100.9. Contests heard on the radio station’s internet audio stream may be slightly delayed from the time the contests are heard on the broadcast station, and will be running behind the broadcast signal. Thus, all contests heard on the internet are delayed. This delay can last for as much as 30 seconds or more. This means that when Coast 93.1, WPOR and WYNZ 100.9 contests are played that require a specific caller to telephone the radio station (such as “Caller number 9 when you hear the sound effect”), listeners to the on-line audio stream may be at a disadvantage in participating over those listeners who hear the contests on-air.
