Rewind 100.9  and Portland Veterinary Emergency & Specialty Care present the 10th annual Pet Rock in the Park on Sunday, August 29th from 11am to 4pm at Deering Oaks Park in Portland. Because the 2020 Pet Rock was cancelled due to COVID-19, 2021 is the 10th year of the event.

There will be live music, food trucks, vendors and animal welfare organizations and more. As always, attendees will bring their pets, so Pet Rock is really a big two-legged and four-legged party! This year, Pet Rock in the Park is celebrating its 10th year, so it is an especially exciting event year. We hope you join the furry fun! It all benefits the Animal Cancer Foundation!

We’ll be featuring music from the 70s, 80s & 90s played live by The Time Pilots and Under The Covers.

Representatives of area Animal Shelters and Rescue Groups will be on location, and you can adopt a pet right on site!

Hannaford is leading a project called Full Bowl Pet Pantry to benefit pets in our community. Donations at Pet Rock in the Park are welcome and encouraged. Donations to Full Bowl Pet Pantry will be collected and distributed by the Animal Refuge League of Greater Portland in collaboration with Hannaford.

Maine’s best food trucks will be there!

Fred’s Fried Dough
Mainely Burgers
Crepe Elizabeth
Halsted Chicago Style
Paddy Wagon
Pinky D’s Poutine
Tacos Del Seoul
Zephyr Ice

Let us know that you’re coming! RSVP to the event on facebook! And be sure to follow us on instagram!
